Now there are more than 1.1 million flags and more than 300 challenges for which you can collect badges. To reduce loading times and, above all, to provide you a better overview on the website, we present you the brand new filters for the map and achievements today!
Map:
Long awaited, now they are finally there: More filter options for the Flagstack map! Finally you can see all your own flags OR only the found ones OR only Night Flags OR OR OR… Is the Caps Lock key activates or why is OR capitalized? Well, because an OR query is running here. Eh? Pardon? Like this: The filter checks whether it is e.g. your own flag OR an Oracle Flag. Therefore, your own flags and Oracle Flags can be displayed at the same time, but your own flags cannot be sorted by type. Might sound complicated but it's easy! Log on directly on the website and switch a bit with the new filter possibilities back and forth - then you’ll see the easy handling of this without any explanation J https://www.flagstack.net/map .
Achievements:
Now you can see the achievements in all possible variants - regular challenges, specials, events or regional tasks. In addition, you can decide if all badges are going to be displayed simultaneously or only the reached or the outstanding ones.
Side note for the regional filter: Here you will see badges for your (home) country, which you can define in the account settings https://www.flagstack.net/account. If you want to see other countries, just go to the filter "all achievements" and see the offers of other countries...
Are you curious now? Try it out right here: https://www.flagstack.net/achievements
These new filters are currently only available on the website, but they are already prepared for the next app update and will be available on the road soon!

Once upon a time, more than 200 years ago, the brothers Grimm enchanted the world with fairy tales and legends.
Such an amount of cultural history, it is definitely worth to see the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm as LAB (LocalAreaBadge).
Since the mid-1970s the German Fairy Tale Route is one of the oldest and most popular holiday routes through Germany. The life stations of the Brothers Grimm, from the birthplace of Hanau to the far north to Bremen Town Musicians, are lined up along the 600km long German Fairy Tale Route. Completed by additional places and landscapes where the fairy tales, myths and legends are located, an experienceful journey is created.
The German Fairy Tale Route offers innumerable charming towns with half-timbered houses, a varied nature and legendary castles and fortresses. FLAGSTACK and the Frog Prince accompany you along this route. A total of 59 stations can be found on the map with our special icon of the German Fairy Tale Route - if you collect at least 47 of them, you'll receive a fabulous Badge with 4,700 extra points!
Thanks to thwe16 for the idea and the assistance in the implementation! In your surroundings, there are also beautiful landscapes or special buildings that deserve to get out with a LAB? Bring it on and send your proposals to lab@flagstack.net and we can create a unique LAB together!

The last warm sunrays of late summer are here - the days become noticeably shorter, and very slowly you can become friends with the gingerbread offer that has already been in the supermarket for weeks.
The first storms swept over Camp Reinsehlen in the Lueneburger Heath (Lower Saxony, Germany) and every available corner of the purple-blossoming heather slowly turns into a gloomy brown ... But whoever thinks the winter break will slowly enter North Germany's largest GPS game arena, is wrong - we do have a world premiere for you!
At the former tank wash system, today's climbing park in this trail arena, a sign visible from afar has been erected - in the well-known orange color design. The local Data Matrix Code will bring you an impressive sum of 75 points... day after day! C O R R E C T ! You can scan it every day (every 24h after your last capture) and you will get 75 points with EVERY visit. That's not enough: whoever gets a total of 30 captures will receive another 750 points and a unique summit badge!
You see, no one can say the Lueneburger Heath wouldn’t offer attractions at any time of the year...
We hope for a lot of use - if the results are enough, a lot more is planned - stay tuned! By the way, the road from the motorway A7 Schneverdingen is still not completely flagged - the eastern access to the camp along the B3 still provides space for flags!
The terrain of the Hoehenweg-Arena does not have to be entered - the climbing park is expected to be closed due to weather conditions by the end of October 2016 to early March 2017. The sign itself can be captured through the fence. " Taking a short cut" beyond the permitted routes were provided with new barricades - please pay attention to the local prohibitive signs.
Have fun!
